Balikpapan, January 8, 2025 – The Institute of Technology of Kalimantan (ITK) held an inauguration ceremony for new officials on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. This ceremony marked the appointment of several key positions, including Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties, Vice Deans, Heads of Bureaus, Heads of Institutions, Coordinators of UPA, Program Study Coordinators, and Department Heads.
The inauguration aims to strengthen the leadership team and bring a fresh spirit to the management and development of academic affairs at ITK. The appointed officials will assume their roles to support the continued progress of this higher education institution.

The inauguration was also attended by esteemed witnesses, namely Drs. Deni Sutrisno, M.Si., Head of the Regional Civil Service Agency of East Kalimantan Province and Acting Assistant for General Administration, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Tamrin, S.T., M.T., IPU., APEC Eng., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Mulawarman University.
In his speech, the Rector of ITK congratulated and wished success to all newly appointed officials, expressing hopes that they would carry out their duties and responsibilities with integrity. "I hope the newly inaugurated officials will continue to develop ITK as a center of excellence and a competitive higher education institution," he said.
With this inauguration, it is expected that all ITK leadership can work together to realize the university's vision and mission and enhance the quality of education, research, and community service
