History
Physics ITK is one of the study programs based on basic science .... Physics ITK was established in 2013 together with five other study programs when ITK was still under the care of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and was inaugurated in accordance with the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education No.65 / M / Kp / III / 2015. In 2013, all ITK Physics students were entrusted at ITS, especially in the Physics study program. Right in August 2015, the entire physics teaching and learning process was moved to Balikpapan.
Vision
To become an educational institution and the development of superior physics and contribute to science and technology based on the potential of Kalimantan resources.
Mission
1. Carry out undergraduate education that produces graduates in accordance with the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework level six.
2. Carry out administrative, financial, academic, and student services in accordance with the quality standards of universities.
3. Become a pioneer of the center for research and development of Physics and its application in the Eastern Part of Indonesia by empowering the potential of the Kalimantan region.
