History
The Industrial Engineering Study Program was opened based on the results of the ITK Senate's decision on January 26, 2017 which contained the opening of a new study program to meet the needs of experts in the field of technology and in an effort to develop the ITK Education Tri Dharma, especially in the field of education, it was deemed necessary to open a new study program. So that the opening of the industrial engineering study program was compiled which refers to the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education Number 108 / DIKTI / Kep / 2001 concerning Guidelines for Opening Study Programs and / or Departments Based on the Decree of the Minister of National Education Number 234 / U / 2000 concerning the Establishment of Higher Education and involving Industrial Engineering experts such as Dr. Ir. Sri Gunani Pratiwi (ITS), Ir. Sritomo Wignjosoebroto, M.Sc (ITS) and Prof. Ir. Budi Santosa, MS, PhD (ITS) in order to obtain input related to the latest conditions in the field of Industrial Engineering.
Based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education repoblik Indonesia No.209 / KPT / I / 2017, dated April 4, 2017 concerning the permit to open the Industrial Engineering Study Program undergraduate program at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology.

To become an Industrial Engineering Study Program that excels in terms of resource development and empowerment of the potential of the Kalimantan region for national development in 2025
Mission
1. Implementing educational programs that are oriented towards the needs and progress of science, especially in the field of Industrial Engineering to produce superior graduates.
2. Carrying out research to develop science and technology in the field of Industrial Engineering in the development of resources and potential of the Kalimantan region.
3. Organizing community service activities in the field of Industrial Engineering in empowering the potential of the Kalimantan region.
4. Establish integrated cooperation with related parties, both government and private.
