This year ITK again received a grant from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education to carry out the Mobilization of Expert Lecturers/Experts program. This activity is one of the efforts to accelerate in various fields for new state universities (PTNB). One of the activities that received funding was the lecturer career acceleration program, which presented Prof. Nur Iriawan, Vice Rector for HR and ITS Organization 2011-2015.

Prof. Nur, as he is called, is scheduled to be present at the ITK campus for 24 working days, in order to provide guidance and assistance to lecturers to accelerate lecturer careers, especially for the level of expert assistant positions. Of the 138 ITK permanent lecturers, 40 people have had the position of Expert Assistant, 3 lectors, and 5 people have passed the lecturer certification. With this Expert Lecturer/Expert Mobilization program, this figure is expected to increase significantly.

In the first week, Prof. Nur discussed many topics around staffing regulations, especially regulations for ASN, and an overview of lecturer careers. "Currently, the management of the positions of Expert Assistant and Lector is relatively easier, because the assessment is carried out by the PTN internal assessment team. In addition, the current level of functional positions is simpler, there are only 4: Expert Assistant, Lector, Head Lector, and Professor. In the past, there were 9 levels of positions," said the alumnus of Curtin University Australia.

Last week, which was the second week, Prof. Nur discussed many issues around lecturer workload (BKD), employee performance targets (SKP), and Serdos. Of the 138 existing lecturers, this year 30-40 lecturers are projected to become Expert Assistant lecturers, and by 2020 all doses are targeted to have functional positions, and can be fully certified by 2021.
