Gathering, Introduction and Information of ITK or commonly called SPIn ITK is an activity aimed at new ITK students. This activity aims to introduce the regulations at ITK to new students, both academic and non-academic regulations.

 

SPIn ITK which took place on August 11-13, 2015 went smoothly. The three-day activity began with the official acceptance of ITK 2015 new students by the Rector of ITK, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sulistijono, DEA. The official admission of new students of ITK 2015 was carried out symbolically by embedding alma mater suits to representatives of new students represented by Achmat Hidayat from the Mechanical Engineering Study Program and Nikki Annisa from the Civil Engineering Study Program. With the symbolic embedding of the alma mater suit, 375 prospective itk 2015 new students have officially become ITK students.

 

 

The new students of ITK 2015 are diverse, coming from various regions in Indonesia. Some come from the islands of Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and of course Kalimantan. This is known during the break session, which is guided by the MC. When asked to convey messages and impressions, several students from outside the island of Kalimantan looked very enthusiastic and excited to be an ITK student.

 

On the first day of this activity, there was also a guest lecture by Henky Eko Supriyantono ST, MT, or more familiarly called Cak Eko. Cak Eko is the owner of the Malang City Meatball business. He explained about his experience in starting various businesses, and finally successfully pioneering a business in selling meatballs which are currently spread in various cities in Indonesia and have even opened branches abroad. He told how his ups and downs were in starting a business. As an engineering person, it is possible to have a career as an entrepreneur in various fields. At this time, Indonesia really needs many entrepreneurs who can open up many jobs for the community, so as to improve the Indonesian economy.

On the second day, the new students are divided into 5 clusters which will then be introduced to the regulations in ITK. The introduction of both academic and non-academic regulations was filled by ITK lecturers. Meanwhile, on the third day, new students were introduced to each study program. In the introduction of this study program, in addition to new students being able to get to know who are the lecturers who will later educate them, there are also several of their seniors in each study program.

It is hoped that with the implementation of this activity, new ITK 2015 students can understand the academic and non-academic regulations of ITK and can increase the relationship between new students and old students and also of course with ITK lecturers.
