Balikpapan – The atmosphere at the Integrated Laboratory Auditorium of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) turned warm and emotional on May 10 and 11, 2025. Over the course of two days, a total of 257 graduates from three faculties were officially sent off, stepping into the new chapter of professional life.
The event opened with a traditional welcoming dance, warmly greeting invited guests, parents, and graduates with rich cultural spirit. The graduation procession then continued in a festive yet solemn manner, led by ITK Rector Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., accompanied by the Vice Rectors and 14 members of the Institute Senate.
“I hope our graduates will become agents of change, dedicated to the nation's progress, contributing to regional development, and upholding the values of integrity, professionalism, and ethics in every step they take. The world of work demands not only intelligent individuals, but also those of noble character and strong commitment,” the Rector expressed in his speech.

Since its establishment, ITK has produced more than 3,700 graduates who have gone on to serve in various sectors, including government, industry, and technological innovation. Graduation is not the end, but the beginning of a meaningful journey in society.
