Balikpapan – The Provincial Government of East Kalimantan has officially opened the GratisPol Education Program Batch 1 of 2026 for active/continuing students. This program will be implemented in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year for students who will be enrolled in Semester 4, 6, and 8.

In relation to this, the following information provides guidance on filling out the GratisPol website for students of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (Institut Teknologi Kalimantan/ITK).

Registration Requirements

The GratisPol Education Program is intended for students who meet the following criteria:

• Active students of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology in Semester 3, 5, and 7.
• Residents of East Kalimantan Province, proven by a valid Identity Card (KTP) and Family Card (KK) issued at least three (3) years prior.
• Not currently receiving any other scholarships.
• Have never received the Kaltim Tuntas Scholarship at the same level of education.
• Willing to serve in East Kalimantan if required by the Provincial Government.
• Willing to complete the education program until graduation.
• Required to complete ITK internal data registration via:

• Online Registration Guidelines

• Students must complete the registration process online through the official website: https://pendidikan.gratispol.kaltimprov.go.id
  
  Before filling out the registration form, students are required to prepare the following supporting documents:
• Latest official digital passport photo
• Scanned copy of East Kalimantan Identity Card (KTP)
• Scanned copy of East Kalimantan Family Card (KK) issued at least three (3) years prior
• Scanned academic transcript and latest Study Result Card (KHS)
• Statement letter confirming that the applicant is not receiving any other scholarships (with stamp duty and signature)
• Statement letter confirming that the applicant has never received the Kaltim Tuntas Scholarship at the same education level (with stamp duty and signature)
• Statement of willingness to serve in East Kalimantan if required by the Provincial Government (with stamp duty and signature)
• Statement of willingness to complete the education program until graduation (with stamp duty and signature)
• Statement letter declaring that all submitted data is accurate and legally accountable (with stamp duty and signature)

Data Entry Stages

During the registration stage, students must enter basic information including full name (capitalized initial letters), National Identification Number (NIK) and Family Card Number (KK) without punctuation marks, an active email address, and an active mobile phone number. Students who already have an account may proceed directly to the login menu.

After logging in, students must select the Education Program menu and choose GratisPol Education Program in East Kalimantan – Batch 1 of 2026. The system will then direct applicants to complete the Profile section, which includes personal identity data as stated on the ID card, contact information, recipient category (recommended to select “Capable” unless an official certificate of financial hardship is available), and residential and domicile addresses.

The next step is completing the Higher Education section, which includes Student ID Number (NIM), active student status, education level, university name (Kalimantan Institute of Technology), study program, previous school, admission pathway (select “Other” and enter “Private Independent Selection”), target semester (4, 6, or 8), GPA grading scale (Scale 4), GPA as stated on the academic transcript, total UKT/SPP fees as stated in the official ITK letter, and variable tuition/SKS fees entered as zero (0).

Document Upload and Finalization

In the Documents section, students must upload all required documents. Ensure that all scanned files are clear, readable, and correctly oriented.

After completing all sections, students must review the Resume page. If any red exclamation marks appear, the corresponding data must be corrected. Once all information is complete and accurate, students may finalize the application by clicking Finalize Resume.

ITK Internal Registration

As a final step, all applicants are required to complete internal registration at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology through the following link: https://s.itk.ac.id/bersediagratispol
