For students who are passionate about developing innovative solutions, building startups, or testing their debating skills on a national stage, Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) 2026 offers an opportunity not to be missed.

Carrying the theme “Energizing Acceleration for Future Impact,” PGTC 2026 serves as a platform for students across Indonesia to showcase their ideas, talents, and potential. Organized by PT Pertamina (Persero) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the program goes beyond competition by creating opportunities for collaboration, capacity building, and networking with academics, industry professionals, and innovators from across the country.

This year, students can participate in three flagship competitions designed to accommodate diverse interests and expertise. For those with strong analytical and communication skills, the Energy Debate Championship (EDC) provides a national-level English debate competition using the British Parliamentary format. The competition encourages participants to explore strategic energy issues while developing critical thinking, leadership, and persuasive argumentation skills.

Students interested in research and scientific innovation can join the Energynovation Ideas Competition (EIC). This national scientific writing competition challenges participants to propose innovative and research-based solutions to Indonesia’s energy and sustainability challenges. Selected works will have the opportunity to be published in scientific journals partnered with Pertamina, offering valuable academic exposure and recognition.

Meanwhile, aspiring entrepreneurs can take part in Pertamuda Seed & Scale 2026, one of Indonesia’s largest student startup competitions. The program aims to foster entrepreneurial talent by providing mentorship, industry networking opportunities, access to funding, and pathways to further develop promising business ideas into impactful ventures.

In addition to cash prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah, finalists and winners will gain access to a variety of exclusive benefits, including national certificates, visits to Pertamina operational sites, intensive coaching programs, and international development opportunities. Transportation and accommodation expenses for national finalists will also be fully covered by the organizers.

Registration for PGTC 2026 has been open since May 21, 2026. Applications for the Energy Debate Championship will remain open until July 31, 2026, while submissions for the Energynovation Ideas Competition will be accepted until July 21, 2026.
