Balikpapan - Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK), through the Faculty of Sustainable Development (FPB), organized the 2025 Performance Achievement Evaluation and 2026 Planning activity, combined with a human resource capacity-building session, on Saturday, 13 December 2025, at the ITK Integrated Laboratory Auditorium. The activity was attended by faculty leaders, department and study program heads, lecturers, and educational staff.
The event began with participant registration at 08.00 WITA, followed by the official opening by the MC. The agenda continued with an opening prayer, the singing of the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya and the ITK March, as well as remarks and directions from the Dean of the Faculty of Sustainable Development, the Vice Rector, and the Rector of ITK, who officially opened the event.
Entering the main session, participants received a presentation from Elda Trialisa Putri, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psychologist, moderated by Maryo Inri, S.T., M.T. The session, entitled “Strategies for Improving Individual and Organizational Performance in Academic Environments: Effective Communication, Stress Management, and Motivation Strengthening,” emphasized the importance of maintaining and paying attention to psychological well-being in the workplace—both for oneself and others in order to create a healthy and productive work climate.
After the presentation and Q&A session, the activity continued with a presentation on the Faculty’s 2025 Achievements and 2026 Plans by the Faculty of Sustainable Development’s deanery. Subsequently, each department and study program presented their performance achievement reports and development plans.
For the Faculty of Sustainable Development, presentations were delivered by the Department of Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, and Environmental Engineering. The following session featured the Department of Civil Engineering and Planning (JTSP) along with its study programs, including Civil Engineering, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, and Visual Communication Design (DKV).
In his presentation, the Dean of the Faculty of Sustainable Technology, Ir. Alamsyah, S.T., M.T., stated that overall, the faculty demonstrated very strong performance achievements throughout 2025. Nevertheless, he emphasized the importance of a reflective and evaluative attitude.
“Achievements that exceed indicators should not lead to complacency, but rather serve as a foundation for evaluating performance aspects that have not yet been achieved, so that the quality of the faculty and ITK continues to improve,” he said.
The event was also interspersed with ice-breaking sessions and games to maintain participant enthusiasm, and concluded with a performance achievement discussion as a space for collective reflection. The activity ended with an official closing and documentation session.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Sustainable Development at ITK hopes that comprehensive performance evaluation and the strengthening of psychological aspects of human resources will serve as a solid foundation for improving academic quality, governance, and institutional performance toward 2026.
