ITK Holds Socialization of 2026 Input Cost Standards (SBM) with the Indonesian Ministry of Finance

Balikpapan – Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) held the Socialization of the 2026 Standard Input Cost (SBM) in collaboration with the Directorate General of Budget (DJA), Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, at Building A, ITK, on Monday (February 2, 2026).

The event was attended by ITK’s leadership, including ITK Rector Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs Ir. Khakim Ghozali, M.MT., and Head of the Bureau of Academic and General Affairs Yuspian, S.Sos., M.I.R. Also present were deans, heads of institutions, unit leaders, treasury officials, and financial management staff within the ITK environment.

The event began with an opening session and the singing of the Indonesian National Anthem, “Indonesia Raya,” as a reflection of the institution’s commitment to national values and responsible governance.

In his remarks, the Rector of ITK emphasized that the SBM socialization plays a strategic role in supporting effective, efficient, and accountable planning and budgeting, particularly in responding to the dynamics of fiscal policy and state financial management.

“A shared understanding of the Standard Input Cost is a fundamental foundation for realizing transparent and integrity-driven financial governance in higher education institutions,” said the Rector.

The core agenda featured a presentation on the 2026 Standard Input Cost (SBM) delivered by speakers from the Directorate General of Budget, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, namely:

  • Mr. Hendra Kurniawan Kesuma Harjaya
  • Mr. Fuad Achmad Bagraff

both serving as Junior Expert State Finance Analysts.

The socialization materials covered the latest SBM 2026 policies, principles for determining standard costs, and their implications for the planning and budgeting processes of work units, particularly within state universities. The session continued with an interactive discussion and question-and-answer segment, moderated by Ms. Putri Sekar Wilis, S.E., Acting Head of the General Affairs Division and Head of the Finance Working Team of ITK.

As a form of appreciation for the speakers’ contributions and collaboration, the event concluded with a plaque presentation, followed by a documentation session with ITK leadership.

Through this activity, Institut Teknologi Kalimantan hopes that all internal stakeholders will gain a comprehensive and unified understanding of the 2026 Standard Input Cost, thereby supporting increasingly professional, transparent, and accountable planning and budgeting, in line with the principles of good state financial governance.
