Balikpapan, June 2, 2025 — Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) held the official Appointment Decree (SK) Handover Ceremony for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) of the 2024 Fiscal Year, welcoming 77 new civil servants, including lecturers and administrative staff. The event took place at the Auditorium of Building A, ITK, and was attended by the Rector of ITK, Head of the Academic and General Affairs Bureau, Deans and Vice Deans, as well as invited guests.
The ceremony opened with an introduction session of the new employees, where each CPNS had the opportunity to introduce themselves by stating their name, assigned unit, and brief background. The event continued with welcoming remarks and a formal introduction by the Rector of ITK, who conveyed appreciation and expectations for the new civil servants’ future contributions. This was followed by guidance from the Head of the Academic and General Affairs Bureau, emphasizing professionalism, work ethics, and responsibilities as state employees.
A symbolic handover of the appointment decree was conducted for two of the youngest CPNS members: Ms. Yunita Nilan, an administrative staff member born in 2002, and Mr. Husein Shahab, a lecturer born in 2000. This symbolic gesture highlighted the spirit of youth and the future potential they bring to the institution.
The agenda proceeded with ID card photo sessions and fingerprint registration for attendance systems, ensuring that all new employees were formally integrated into the university's administrative system.
