Balikpapan - Good news for recent graduates of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK). The Ministry of Manpower has reopened the 2026 MagangHub Batch 1 Program, offering fresh graduates the opportunity to gain direct work experience at companies, ministries, government agencies, and independent state institutions.
Participant registration is scheduled for July 15–28, 2026, through the Ministry of Manpower’s MagangHub platform. In addition to providing professional experience, the program allows participants to strengthen their competencies, build professional networks, earn certificates, and receive an allowance during the internship period.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that participants who demonstrate strong competence and good performance have a significant opportunity to be recruited by the companies where they complete their internships. Throughout the program, employers can directly assess each participant’s abilities, discipline, work ethic, and professional character.
Participant registration will be open from July 15 to 28, 2026. Companies and participating institutions will then conduct the selection process from July 29 to August 5, 2026.
The selection results are scheduled to be announced on August 7, 2026, while successful participants are expected to begin their internships on August 10, 2026.
The government is targeting approximately 150,000 internship participants throughout 2026, divided into three batches. Each batch is expected to accommodate around 50,000 participants.
The 2026 MagangHub Program is open to Indonesian citizens who have graduated from three-year diploma, applied bachelor’s, or bachelor’s degree programs.
Applicants must have graduated no more than one year before the date stated on their diploma and must come from an officially registered higher education institution.
Prospective participants are also required to have a SIAPKerja account, which serves as the main access point for the MagangHub platform and the available internship vacancies.
Documents that should be prepared include a diploma, academic transcript, curriculum vitae, training or competency certificates, and other supporting awards or documents, where available.
Registration is completed online through the official MagangHub platform. Applicants can sign in using their SIAPKerja account, complete their personal profile, select an internship position that matches their interests and qualifications, and follow the available application procedures.
ITK alumni are encouraged to apply for positions that align with their academic background and competencies. Applicants should also tailor their curriculum vitae to the selected position so that their most relevant experience, skills, projects, organizational involvement, and portfolio can be clearly highlighted.
Applicants should ensure that their email addresses and telephone numbers remain active, as companies or participating institutions may contact candidates during the selection process.
An internship can serve as an important bridge for recent graduates preparing to enter the professional world. Participants will have the opportunity to understand workplace culture, contribute to real projects, strengthen technical and communication skills, and demonstrate their capabilities to prospective employers.
For eligible fresh graduates and ITK alumni, MagangHub 2026 offers an opportunity to begin a professional journey, broaden practical experience, and potentially secure employment after completing the program.
Prepare the required documents, update your CV and SIAPKerja profile, and regularly monitor official MagangHub channels for the latest information and internship opportunities.
Do not simply wait for an opportunity to arrive. Prepare yourself and take the first step toward your professional career.
