Balikpapan - Another proud achievement was achieved by a student from the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK). Arya Satya Maharanu, an Industrial Engineering student from the class of 2023, successfully won first place at the 2025 BKC National Championship, the Deputy Minister of Defense Cup of the Republic of Indonesia, in the Men's Under-21 +84 kg Individual Kumite category.
This prestigious event, organized by the Bandung Karate Club (BKC) in collaboration with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, featured the best young athletes from across Indonesia. Through intense competition and sophisticated technique, Arya managed to dominate and achieve the highest achievement in his class.
