Balikpapan – The management of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) at Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) was officially inaugurated by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) on Wednesday (23/09/2026).

The inauguration was held online via Zoom and attended by DWP representatives from universities and Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDIKTI) across Indonesia. The DWP ITK management participated in the ceremony from ITK’s Building A starting at 11:00 WITA, accompanied by the Rector of ITK, Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc.

The event began with the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Hymn, followed by the reading of the Kemdiktisaintek DWP Decree regarding the inauguration of the management boards.

As part of the inauguration ceremony, the Rector of ITK presented a pin to the Chairperson of DWP ITK, Mrs. Halimah Siwihadi Agus Rubiyanto. The pinning symbolized the official inauguration of the DWP ITK management as part of the simultaneous inauguration of DWP units under Kemdiktisaintek.

The event continued with remarks from the Chairperson of DWP Kemdiktisaintek, Mrs. Annisa Pramudita Badri Munir Sukoco, followed by guidance from the DWP Adviser to all newly inaugurated management members.

With the formal inauguration of its management, DWP ITK is expected to further strengthen the implementation of its programs, expand collaboration with other university DWP units under Kemdiktisaintek, and continue contributing to the wider ITK community and institutional environment.
