Balikpapan, October 9, 2025 – The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK), through the Faculty of Science and Industrial Technology (FSTI), in collaboration with the Electrical Engineering Department and PT Bumi Karya Mandiri, held an International Guest Lecture entitled “International Industry Collaboration in Addressing Competitive Production.”
 The event featured distinguished speakers including Dr. Goh Ley Beng, Mr. Tan Keong Beng, Paulina Chandra, and Mr. Galih Wicaksono.

The lecture, held at the ITK Auditorium, aimed to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry in facing global production challenges. The speakers shared insights on technological innovation, industrial development strategies, and international cooperation opportunities in engineering and manufacturing fields.

During the discussion session, participants  consisting of students, lecturers, and industry practitioners actively engaged with questions regarding applied research opportunities and potential industrial partnerships between ITK and international partners.

This event is expected to mark an important step toward enhancing ITK’s international networking in engineering and industrial research, while encouraging students to be globally competitive, innovative, and collaborative.
