Balikpapan – Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has once again been appointed as one of the official venues for the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT). ITK’s role as a UTBK center in East Kalimantan reflects ongoing efforts to expand access to quality higher education for the younger generation in the region.

Registration for UTBK-SNBT 2026 is officially open from March 25 to April 7, 2026. Participants are encouraged to prepare thoroughly, from understanding the registration process to developing effective strategies for the computer-based examination.

As a UTBK center with Location Code 542, ITK is located at Building A, ITK Campus, Jl. Soekarno Hatta KM 15, Karang Joang, North Balikpapan. The campus provides adequate testing facilities with a total capacity of more than 7,000 participants throughout the examination period.

In addition, ITK is committed to inclusive education by accommodating participants with disabilities, including visually impaired candidates, in this year’s UTBK implementation.

Supported by modern infrastructure and a conducive academic environment, ITK is fully prepared to serve as a representative and comfortable testing venue for all participants. This appointment further highlights ITK’s active contribution to the implementation of the national higher education selection process.

In addition, Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) provides broad access for all students, particularly in East Kalimantan, to take the UTBK-SNBT at ITK as a test center, without having to select ITK as their preferred university. This offers flexibility for participants in choosing a test location that is closest and most convenient.
