Balikpapan - As the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year begins, Rector of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK), Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., visited three faculties at ITK: the Faculty of Sustainable Development (FPB), the Faculty of Industrial Technology and Engineering (FRTI), and the Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSTI), on Monday, August 24, 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity for the Rector to greet and encourage members of the academic community as they resumed their activities in the new academic year. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the Rector spoke directly with faculty leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff in their respective offices.

“Welcome to the new academic year. May all activities across FPB, FRTI, and FSTI run smoothly. May everyone remain healthy and blessed as we work together to develop Indonesia’s excellent human resources, particularly in East Kalimantan,” the Rector said.

During the visit, the Rector also ensured that academic activities for the odd semester were underway and supported by the readiness of each faculty. Strong coordination and synergy among university leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, and students are essential to creating a productive and supportive academic environment.

The visit took place in a relaxed atmosphere, with discussions covering faculty activities, the readiness of academic services, and various programs planned for the semester. The interaction also strengthened communication between the university leadership and the academic community at the faculty level.

As the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year begins, ITK remains committed to continuously improving the quality of education and academic services.
