Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) recently held its most anticipated annual event, ITK Open House 2025, with the theme "Beyond Imagination: Experience Innovation." The event successfully attracted 2,521 participants, who eagerly explored the educational and innovative opportunities offered by ITK. Over two days, on February 8 and 9, 2025, prospective students, their friends, and families were given the opportunity to experience academic life at ITK up close. The event was officially opened by ITK Rector, Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng. Sc., and Head of ITK Bureau, Yuspian, S.Sos., M.I.R. In his opening speech, the Rector expressed his hope that Open House 2025 would be an engaging platform for prospective students to learn more about ITK and eventually enroll as new students.

ITK Open House has become a major annual event, regularly held at the beginning of the year to satisfy students' curiosity about the world of higher education. This two-day event featured various exciting activities, from booths representing 22 study programs (Prodi) that introduced different majors and campus facilities to interactive lecture sessions that provided a real glimpse into the academic experience at ITK. Additionally, participants had the chance to engage directly with faculty members and students, as well as join various activities organized by Student Activity Units (UKM). The event also welcomed families and friends, creating unforgettable moments with loved ones.

"For me, the most memorable moment was during the lecture session because I gained a lot of new knowledge from the professors, and they delivered the material in a very engaging way," shared one of the participants.

Beyond education, ITK Open House 2025 was also filled with exciting door prizes, with the grand prize being a smartphone, along with many other giveaways announced during the closing ceremony. The excitement reached new heights as these prizes boosted the participants' enthusiasm. With such high levels of enthusiasm, ITK Open House 2025 successfully demonstrated the growing interest of prospective students in pursuing their education in the fields of technology and innovation.
