Balikpapan, June 26, 2025 – More than 70 lecturers and administrative staff from Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) filled the Integrated Laboratory Auditorium on Thursday, June 26, 2025. They gathered not for a meeting, but for a lively K-Pop Cardio Dance event, an FSTI initiative supporting the Healthy Community Movement (Germas) program.
This vibrant event had a dual purpose: to improve the physical fitness of the academic community and to strengthen bonds among them. Accompanied by energetic K-Pop music, cardio movements that usually feel tough became more enjoyable and light. The high enthusiasm of the participants was evident, shown by their lively engagement throughout the entire series of movements.
This activity demonstrates FSTI ITK's commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle within the campus environment. By combining exercise and entertainment, FSTI successfully created a conducive atmosphere for lecturers and staff to stay active amidst their busy schedules.
The highlight of the event concluded with a door prize session presented by the Dean of FSTI to the most active and expressive participants during the K-Pop Cardio Dance. This certainly added to the excitement and festivity of the event, making K-Pop Cardio Dance not just an exercise session, but also a memorable moment of togetherness for all participants.
This event is hoped to inspire other units at ITK to continue promoting the Germas program, fostering a healthy and productive campus environment.
