BALIKPAPAN — Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has once again recorded an achievement through the ITK Investment Gallery, which received the “Outstanding Outer Capital City Award” as part of the Road to Galeri Investasi Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) Award 2026. The award was presented by the Indonesia Stock Exchange Representative Office for East and North Kalimantan (IDX Kaltimtara) on Monday, October 5, 2026.

This achievement serves as recognition of ITK Investment Gallery’s consistent efforts in promoting capital market literacy, education, and public understanding, particularly within the university environment and among communities outside the national capital.

Under the guidance of Indrawan, a lecturer in ITK’s Actuarial Science Study Program and Advisor to the ITK Investment Gallery, the gallery continues to provide a learning platform that goes beyond theoretical knowledge by introducing students more closely to the investment and capital market ecosystem.

The Outstanding Outer Capital City Award reflects the contribution of ITK Investment Gallery in expanding access to capital market education from East Kalimantan. The presence of an Investment Gallery on campus has become a strategic medium for encouraging young people to better understand financial management and responsible investment.
