Jakarta – Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) continues to demonstrate its consistent commitment to transparency. In 2024, ITK was once again invited to participate in the Public Information Disclosure Presentation Stage, organized by the Central Information Commission at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran in Jakarta. This event is part of the regular Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Information Disclosure, aimed at assessing the level of transparency and accessibility of information within public institutions.
The event, which took place from November 12 to 14, 2024, brought together leaders from various public institutions to present their evaluations and commitments regarding information transparency. ITK was represented by its Rector, Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., along with the Head of the General and Academic Bureau, Yuspian, S.Sos., M.I.R., and the Head of the Public Relations Working Team, Nabila Khaerunnisa. ITK’s participation in this public test marked the fourth time it had taken part, underscoring the institution’s consistent efforts to maintain its position as a recognized leader in transparency.
During the public information presentation session, Prof. Agus Rubiyanto highlighted ITK's achievements and the strategic steps taken to promote public information transparency. “We believe that being a public institution that is informative is not just about how much we communicate, but about how we can provide honest, accurate, and useful access to information for the public,” said Prof. Agus in his presentation.
The Public Information Test Presentation Stage served as an important opportunity for ITK to showcase its real efforts in providing accurate and easily accessible information to the public. Following its success in filling out the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ), ITK hopes to maintain and even improve its status as a trusted public institution in terms of information transparency.
ITK’s participation in this public test not only strengthens the institution’s reputation as a transparent campus but also serves as an inspiration for other universities in Indonesia to embrace transparency in their own information disclosure practices.
