Balikpapan – The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has once again achieved recognition in the field of public information transparency. This year, ITK has successfully passed the Public Test Stage of the Public Information Openness Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) 2025, organized by the Central Information Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KIP RI). The public test will take place on November 20, 2025, at Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Jakarta.

This achievement reflects ITK’s strong commitment to implementing transparent, accountable, and informative governance for the public. Based on the verification results from KIP RI, ITK obtained a verification score of 98.8, positioning it as one of the Public Bodies qualified to participate in the National Public Test. This high score demonstrates ITK’s consistency in maintaining the quality of public information services within the state university environment.

The evaluation of public information disclosure is based on five key aspects: information publication, availability of public information documents, website development, procurement transparency, and institutional structure. In terms of information publication, ITK actively disseminates various information through its official website and social media channels to ensure easy public access. Regarding the availability of public information documents, ITK guarantees that public records such as activity reports, financial statements, and academic services are transparently accessible through the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID).

From the perspective of website development, ITK continuously enhances its official portal as a center for public transparency featuring an informative, user-friendly, and digitally integrated interface. Meanwhile, in procurement, ITK upholds transparency and accountability principles in accordance with prevailing regulations. In the institutional aspect, ITK has established a strong PPID structure under the coordination of the Rector, with the Head of Academic and General Affairs Bureau serving as PPID and Nabila Khaerunnisa as PPID Secretary.

Since 2020, ITK has maintained a dedicated PPID team that plays a key role in strengthening its system and governance for public information openness. Through consistent teamwork and commitment, ITK has successfully retained its status as an Informativeness Public Body in previous years. This year, the institution strives to uphold and advance that achievement through participation in the 2025 Public Information Openness Public Test.

With a spirit of transparency, accountability, and excellent public service, the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan remains committed to continuously improving the quality of public information management and reinforcing its role as an open, informative, and trustworthy university for the community.
