Balikpapan, November 6, 2025 – The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan once again welcomed a collaborative study visit from MAN Insan Cendekia (IC) Paser on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. WITA. The activity served as a platform for students to learn more about campus life, laboratories, and academic programs at ITK one of the leading technological universities in East Kalimantan.
The visit began at the Design Laboratory with an introductory session and safety induction. The event opened with welcoming remarks from M. Nurhidayatur Rozikin, followed by a presentation on ITK’s profile, academic departments, and scholarship opportunities delivered by Saputro Dewo from ITK Public Relations.
During the session, participants learned about the history of ITK’s establishment, its academic excellence across various study programs, and the comprehensive facilities available to support students’ academic and non-academic development.
After the introduction, the MAN IC Paser delegation toured several of ITK’s leading laboratories, including:
The laboratory tour was guided by ITK lab technicians, who provided detailed explanations about the equipment, ongoing research, and the real-world applications of engineering science.
Through this visit, ITK aims to strengthen educational and research collaboration between universities and secondary schools, especially in the fields of science and technology. The program also sought to inspire MAN IC Paser students to pursue higher education in engineering and contribute to the development of East Kalimantan and Indonesia.
