Balikpapan, September 11, 2024 – Laboratory 1 at the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan witness a spectacular showcase of innovation at the Pejuang Inovasi Nasional (PIN) 2024 competition. This annual event, organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, features the theme "Digital Transformation In Building The Nusantara Toward Technology Era 5.0", and aims to provide a platform for Indonesian students to showcase their talents and brilliant ideas in technology.
PIN 2024 is set to welcome participants from various universities and institutes across Indonesia. The competition will feature two main categories: Internet of Things (IoT) Competition and Line Follower Robot Contest. These categories will bring together finalists from different higher education institutions to vie for the top honors.
The event aims not only to foster innovation among students but also to introduce the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan as a leading center for technological development in the Nusantara region. PIN 2024 serves as a platform for participants to demonstrate their skills in technology and robotics, as well as to open opportunities for new innovations that could contribute to Indonesia's technological advancement.
During the event, finalists who have passed the selection stage will showcase their innovations in IoT and line follower robots, providing a real glimpse into the potential and creativity of Indonesian students. This competition is part of the commitment of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan to support technological development and prepare human resources for the challenges of the digital era 5.0.
