Students from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) have once again made their mark with an impressive achievement at the TECH and TRADE EXPO organized by Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) in 2024. Two students from the 2023 Electrical Engineering cohort, Rizky Perdana Putra Robby and Muhammad Ridhol Mahbubi, succeeded in securing medals in the highly competitive Creative Industry Product category.
Rizky Perdana Putra Robby, as a member of the Ecoret team, earned the Bronze Medal in this category. Through dedication and hard work, Rizky and his team created an innovative product that captured the attention of judges and other participants. This achievement highlights the high quality of education at Elektro ITK, which continues to produce students with exceptional potential in the creative industry sector.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ridhol Mahbubi, who collaborated with the GAMECOIN team, claimed the Silver Medal in the same category. Ridhol and his team’s success demonstrates their ability to generate creative ideas that offer solutions in the digital and technology fields. This silver medal not only brings personal pride but also reinforces the position of Elektro ITK as an institution that fosters innovative talent across various fields.
The TECH and TRADE EXPO 2024 is a prestigious event that involved students from various degree programs, including S1 Pendidikan Teknik Elektro 2021, S1 Teknik Elektro 2022, and S1 Teknik Informatika 2022. The event featured various activities, such as poster competitions, product competitions, entrepreneurship seminars, and an entrepreneurship expo. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their technical and creative skills in multiple forms, while also presenting their works to a broader audience.
The success of Rizky and Ridhol at this event is not only a personal achievement but also serves to elevate the reputation of the Electrical Engineering Department at ITK.
