Balikpapan - Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) is once again opening opportunities for students to broaden their academic insight while strengthening their understanding of central banking through the 2026 ITK Central Banking Education Program. This program offers an attractive opportunity for students who wish to enhance their capacity, both academically and in understanding the strategic role of central banking in national economic development.

Through this program, selected students will have the opportunity to receive scholarships for up to 50 students each year. The scholarship amount is Rp1,000,000 per month for one year, provided that participants meet all applicable requirements and provisions. This support is expected to encourage students to continue excelling and sustain their studies.

The Central Banking Education Program is not only focused on financial assistance, but is also designed to promote higher education participation, strengthen learning motivation, and develop human resources who are creative, productive, and socially aware. The presence of this program reflects the synergy between higher education institutions and stakeholders in preparing a young generation that is excellent, well-rounded, and capable of contributing to society.

Scholarship Selection Documents

Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:

•  Academic transcript showing the number of credits completed and a current GPA of at least 3.00
• A.1 biodata form
•  Photocopy of ID card/driver’s license and student card 
•  Photocopy of the first page of the bank account book 
•  Statement letter declaring that the applicant is not currently receiving any scholarship from another institution/agency/company 
•  Personal résumé/CV 
•  Motivation letter in Indonesian 
•  Recommendation letter from one referee, either academic or non-academic 
•  Certificate of financial hardship or a letter from the village/subdistrict office for underprivileged students 
•  One recent 3x4 color photograph
•  Certificate of active student status 

General Criteria for Undergraduate Students

•  Minimum 3rd semester student
•  Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
•  Maximum age of 23 years at the time of application 
•  Must have one recommendation letter
•  Must attach a CV
•  Must attach a motivation letter
•  Priority will be given to students from underprivileged families, proven by a certificate of financial hardship 
•  Must pass the administrative and interview selection process 
•  Must have a commitment to supporting central banking literacy
