Balikpapan, May 28, 2025 — Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) officially held the Oath-Taking Ceremony for Civil Servants (PNS) on May 28, 2025, for a total of 43 newly appointed PNS, the majority of whom are lecturers. This solemn event marked an important milestone in the formal appointment process of civil servants at ITK for the year 2025.
The ceremony was led by the Rector of ITK and attended by Vice Rectors, Deans, and Vice Deans from all faculties. Their presence highlighted the full support of university leadership for strengthening ITK’s human resource capacity through the civil service system.
In his address, the Rector conveyed heartfelt congratulations to all the appointees, while reminding them of the responsibilities that come with their new status as state civil servants. He emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and dedication in fulfilling their roles in academia and public service.
"We extend our sincere congratulations to all Bapak and Ibu who have taken the oath as Civil Servants today. May this be the beginning of a committed journey to contribute meaningfully to ITK and to the advancement of higher education in Indonesia," stated the Rector.
With these new appointments, ITK continues to strengthen its academic foundation and institutional capacity, particularly in its mission to be a driving force in science, technology, and regional development in Kalimantan and Eastern Indonesia.
