Balikpapan – The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) once again welcomed a school visit on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. This time, the visit came from SMKN 3 Balikpapan, specifically the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) Department. The event took place at the Integrated Laboratory Auditorium 1 and was warmly welcomed by ITK’s Public Relations Team, represented by Rozikin and Ulfa.
In their opening remarks, the PR Team expressed appreciation and delight at the enthusiasm of the students eager to learn more about ITK’s academic environment. The visit continued with a presentation delivered by Mr. Saputro Dewo, who shared valuable insights about the world of information technology, higher education opportunities, and career development in the digital era.
The atmosphere became more engaging during the interactive Q&A session, where one of the students raised an interesting question about the “Summit ITK” collaboration pathway, a program designed to foster partnerships between ITK, industry, and educational institutions.
Following the presentation, the participants were invited to tour several of ITK’s key facilities, including the Computer Laboratory, Logistics Laboratory, and Civil Engineering Laboratory. Through this activity, the students gained firsthand experience of ITK’s research, learning environment, and ongoing innovations.
The visit concluded with a group photo session, serving as both a token of appreciation and a memorable moment of their educational experience. Through this program, it is hoped that more students will be inspired to pursue higher education and further develop their competencies in the fields of technology and engineering.
