May 4, 2025, the academic atmosphere at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) felt exceptionally dynamic and full of innovation. The Electrical Engineering Study Program at ITK proudly and successfully held their annual event, X-CITE 2025: Final Project Seminar and Exhibition of Electrical Engineering. This event served as a crucial platform for final-year students to showcase the culmination of their academic journey, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the form of innovative projects.
Held in the representative Auditorium of Integrated Laboratory 1 at ITK, X-CITE 2025 attracted attention from various circles. The primary objective of this activity was to exhibit a diverse range of final projects by Electrical Engineering students, reflecting their in-depth understanding and creativity in addressing engineering challenges. The showcased works varied greatly, from innovative computational simulations to solve complex problems, in-depth analyses of the latest electrical and electronic systems, to prototypes of actual tools brimming with cutting-edge technology and innovation. Each project not only demonstrated technical competence but also the potential for contributing to the advancement of science and technology.
The presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology further enlivened the event and provided significant moral support to the participants. Moreover, X-CITE 2025 successfully garnered considerable attention from many visitors, not only from within the ITK academic environment – including lecturers, staff, and students from various study programs – but also from outside ITK. High enthusiasm was evident from the active interactions between visitors and students, where in-depth discussions about various final projects frequently occurred, demonstrating public interest in the innovations produced.
This exhibition served not only as a presentation platform but also as a venue for interaction and inspiration. For students who are about to or are currently working on their final projects, X-CITE 2025 provided a tangible overview of the expected standards of quality and innovation. For industry and the general public, the exhibition opened their eyes to the immense potential of human resources graduating from ITK's Electrical Engineering program, who are ready to contribute to solving real-world problems. The success of this event affirmed the commitment of the ITK Electrical Engineering Study Program in producing graduates who are not only academically excellent but also highly competitive and creative.
With the conclusion of X-CITE 2025, the ITK Electrical Engineering Study Program hopes this momentum will continue. Such activities are expected to become an annual tradition that further strengthens ITK's reputation as a higher education institution focused on technology and innovation development, particularly in the Kalimantan region. The success of this exhibition is a reflection of the dedication of the lecturers, the hard work of the students, and the full support from the ITK leadership in creating a conducive academic ecosystem for the birth of revolutionary works in the field of electrical engineering.
