Balikpapan - The implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2026 is getting closer. Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) urges all participants who will take the test at ITK to prepare all required documents and necessities well in advance.

Insufficient preparation, especially regarding documents, clothing, and personal belongings, may cause problems during registration and could even result in participants not being allowed to take the examination. To ensure the examination runs smoothly, here are the important things that all UTBK-SNBT 2026 participants at ITK must pay attention to.

Required Documents

Participants must bring the following original documents when arriving at the test location:

•  UTBK-SNBT 2026 Participant Card printed from the SNPMB portal 
•  A photo ID, which may be an ID card, student card, or passport 
•  Graduation documents according to the participant’s graduation year 

For participants graduating in 2026, the required graduation document is:

•  An original Grade 12 Certificate or Graduation Certificate (SKL) 
•  The document must be signed by the school principal 
•  The document must include a recent passport-sized photograph 

Meanwhile, for participants who graduated in previous years, the graduation document may be:

•  The original diploma; or 
•  A legalized photocopy of the diploma 

Participants are advised to prepare all required documents at least one day before the examination and keep them in a folder to avoid losing them.

Prohibited Items

To maintain the security and integrity of the examination, participants are prohibited from bringing or using:

•  Mobile phones 
•  Smartwatches 
•  Any other electronic devices 
•  Jewelry 
•  Notes 
•  Suspicious objects 
•  Any type of communication device 
•  Any type of calculator or counting device 
•  Personal stationery 

All examination supplies will be provided by the committee. Therefore, participants do not need to bring pencils, pens, erasers, or any other writing tools.

Participants found carrying or using prohibited items may not be allowed to take the examination.

Dress Code

Participants are required to wear neat, appropriate clothing that does not interfere with the inspection process.

Tops

Participants may wear:

•  A collared shirt 
•  A blouse 
•  A polo shirt 

All tops must be neat and appropriate.

Bottoms

Participants may wear:

•  Long trousers made of fabric or cotton 
•  A long skirt that is not above the knee 

Footwear

Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Sandals and other open footwear are not permitted.

In addition, participants are not allowed to wear:

•  T-shirts 
•  Jackets or hoodies during the examination 
•  Ripped jeans 
•  Thin or transparent clothing 
•  Clothing with many pockets 
•  Torn clothing 

Participants are also encouraged to maintain a neat appearance. Hair should be tidy and not excessively long. Female participants who do not wear a hijab are advised to tie their hair during the examination.

Metal Detector Inspection

Before entering the examination room, all participants will undergo an inspection using a metal detector.

This inspection is conducted to ensure that no communication devices, electronic equipment, or prohibited items are brought into the examination room.

In addition, the committee will also inspect:

•  Glasses 
•  Hearing aids 
•  Other devices used by participants with disabilities 

The inspection is conducted solely to ensure that these devices are being used according to the participant’s needs.

ITK advises all participants to arrive earlier to allow enough time for registration and inspection before the examination begins.

Arrive Early and Check Your Examination Room

Participants are advised to arrive at least 60 minutes before the examination schedule. By arriving earlier, participants will have enough time to:

•  Check their examination room 
•  Complete document verification 
•  Undergo the metal detector inspection 
•  Calm themselves before the examination begins 

Participants should also make sure they already know the building and examination room location listed on their UTBK-SNBT 2026 Participant Card.

Careful preparation will help participants take the examination more calmly, comfortably, and confidently.
