The Research and Community Service Institution (LPPM) of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) successfully held the Academic Writer Bootcamp, initiated by the Head of the ITK Press, Eko Agung Syaputra, M.Ds. The event brought together 57 participants, including ITK lecturers, members of the IRo-society community, and the general public.
The Bootcamp aimed to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in producing works that enhance literacy and contribute to the nation's education. In a collaborative and inspiring atmosphere, participants were encouraged to translate their ideas and knowledge into books.
One of the remarkable achievements of this event was the production of 57 book draft titles deemed worthy of publication with ISBNs. The refinement of these titles was guided by Prof. Imam Robandi, who provided valuable insights and feedback to the writers.
This Bootcamp not only offered insights into academic writing but also fostered a spirit of collaboration between academics and authors. With the books produced, we hope to make a tangible contribution to the education sector and society at large.
We look forward to seeing this initiative continue, inspiring more writers to create high-quality works that will collectively enhance literacy and enlighten our nation.
Congratulations to all participants for their involvement, and a heartfelt thank you to LPPM ITK and ITK Press for the successful organization! Let us continue to create for a brighter future!
