The Digital Business Study Program at ITK successfully held its prestigious annual event, ECONIQ Chapter 2, under the visionary theme "Future Unlimited: Embracing Growth, Expanding Possibilities!" This three-day event served as a platform for students to showcase their digital solutions and collaborate for a brighter future.
The ECONIQ Chapter 2 series kicked off with a vibrant Expo & UI/UX Workshop held from June 26–27, 2025, at Gedung Klandasan, Balikpapan. This expo was more than just an ordinary exhibition; it was a real-life showcase of innovative digital products created by ITK Digital Business students. From implementations of digital entrepreneurship, information technology, to interface design courses, each project exuded student creativity and deep understanding of the digital landscape.
Not only that, participants also had a golden opportunity to deepen their knowledge in a UI/UX Workshop directly guided by Ms. Luh Made Wisnu Satyaninggrat, S.Kom., M.T., a leading UI/UX academician and practitioner. In this interactive session, participants were equipped with essential understanding of the importance of user-friendly interface design and how to create optimal digital experiences. The climax of the event series, the ECONIQ Chapter 2 Closing Ceremony, was held festively on June 30, 2025, at the ITK Integrated Laboratory. This moment served as a reflection on the creative journey undertaken by students, as well as a celebration of the flourishing collaborative spirit.
The theme “Future Unlimited: Embracing Growth, Expanding Possibilities!” was more than just a slogan; it was a mantra reminding us all of the importance of openness to growth, change, and the various new possibilities offered by the digital transformation era.
The closing ceremony was directly attended by ITK leadership, namely ITK Rector, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSTI), Mr. Adi Mahmud Jaya Marindra, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D.
