Balikpapan — Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has officially established the student intake capacity for Undergraduate (S1) and Master’s (S2) Programs for the 2026/2027 Academic Year through a Rector’s Decree issued on December 2, 2025.
This decision is a follow-up to the coordination meeting of ITK unit leaders held on November 26, 2025, and serves as the official reference for the implementation of new student admissions as well as for reporting on the SNPMB Portal for the 2026 admission cycle.
For the Undergraduate (S1) Program in the 2026/2027 Academic Year, ITK has set a total initial intake capacity of 2,390 students, distributed across 27 study programs covering various fields, including science, technology, engineering, planning, business, and design.

This composition reflects ITK’s commitment to providing broad opportunities for high Achieving students through national selection pathways, while also maintaining access through a transparent and competitive independent selection process.
In addition to undergraduate programs, ITK has also determined the intake capacity for its Postgraduate (S2) Program for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
For this academic year, the Master’s Program in Technology Management has been allocated an intake capacity of 60 students. The program is designed to produce graduates with strong managerial and leadership competencies, as well as advanced technological expertise aligned with industry needs and national development priorities.
Through the establishment of this student intake capacity, Institut Teknologi Kalimantan reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality, well-structured, and future-oriented higher education, particularly in supporting the development of Kalimantan and the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) region.
