Balikpapan - The commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2026 brings proud news for Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK). Two ITK staff members have officially received the Satyalancana Karya Satya Honorary Award from the President of the Republic of Indonesia in recognition of their dedication and service as civil servants.

The award is granted based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18/TK/Year 2026 concerning the conferment of the Satyalancana Karya Satya. The recipients from ITK are Sigit Pancahayani, S.Si., M.Si., serving as Penata Tk.I/Lecturer, and Yuspian, S.Sos., M.I.R., serving as Pembina Utama Muda/Head of the Bureau of General Affairs and Academic Affairs.

The Satyalancana Karya Satya is an honorary award given to civil servants who have demonstrated loyalty, dedication, competence, integrity, and discipline in their service over a sustained period of time.

This recognition represents the state’s acknowledgment of the significant contributions of education professionals in advancing the development of high-quality human resources.
