Thailand, October 3, 2024 – In a bold move towards international collaboration, the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) and Prince of Songkla University (PSU) Thailand have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening academic and research relations between the two institutions.
This historic event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of PSU, and Prof. Dr. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., Rector of ITK, both of whom emphasized the importance of this cooperation in opening new opportunities for students and staff at both universities. “We believe this collaboration will bring significant benefits, not only to the two institutions but also to the wider community,” said Prof. Agus.
In a spirited atmosphere, Dr. Tagsina Sripracha, Assistant President for International Affairs at PSU, and Alamsyah, S.T., M.T., Head of the Department of Food Science and Maritime Technology at ITK, expressed their hopes that this MoU could serve as a bridge connecting knowledge, culture, and innovation. “Through this cooperation, we hope to create sustainable synergy in research and educational development,” said Alamsyah.
