Balikpapan, October 15, 2025 —The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) welcomed an educational visit from SMAN 1 Rantau Pulung, Kutai Timur Regency, on Wednesday (10/15).
This activity aimed to provide students with direct insights into higher education, research, and the application of technology within the ITK academic environment.
The delegation, consisting of 95 students and accompanying teachers, was warmly welcomed by the Public Relations Team of ITK, represented by Saputra Dewo and M. Nurhidayatur Rozikin, at the Auditorium of Integrated Laboratory Building 1, ITK.
The event opened with an introduction to ITK’s institutional profile, vision and mission, academic programs, and admission pathways.
“We are grateful to SMAN 1 Rantau Pulung for choosing ITK as the destination of their educational visit. We hope this experience allows students to witness the academic atmosphere and technological innovations developed at ITK,” said Saputra Dewo in his opening remarks.
Following the opening, the session continued with a presentation delivered by the ITK Public Relations Team.
The presentation covered ITK’s study programs, project-based learning system, campus facilities, and admission mechanisms through national and independent pathways.
The event also featured an alumni sharing session, where former students of SMAN 1 Rantau Pulung now studying at ITK shared their experiences about academic life, starting from the Joint Preparation Stage (TPB) to their participation in campus and research activities.
This session provided valuable motivation and inspiration for students to pursue higher education in science and technology.
