Balikpapan, September 13, 2025 – The vibrancy of the ITK Art Fest continued with the Modern Dance Competition titled "DIVERSIGHT: Diverse Identity in Vibrant Expression, Rhythm, and Sight". Carrying the main theme "Dancing in Diversity, United in Rhythm," the event was held on the same day as the traditional dance competition, specifically from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM WITA, at the Food Center Grand City, Balikpapan.

The competition was participated in by seven dance groups: TriLinerz, Friction Creww, Hooked Dance Crew, Rhythm & Ride, Viper Dance Move, TeenTriggers, and Kkoyomi. They showcased their best choreography in front of a judging panel consisting of Sabilillah Sayuti, Kurniawan, and Mrs. Dhyah Puspita Dewi, S.T., M.P.W.K. After fierce competition, three winners were chosen.

Hooked Dance successfully won 1st Place, TeenTriggers as 2nd Place, and Viper Dance Move in third place. The winners were announced together with the traditional dance competition winners at 3:00 PM WITA. The trophies and certificates were handed over by Mrs. Luh Putri Adnyani, S.T., M.T., MRINA. and Mr. Bimo Aji Widyantoro, S.T., M.Eng. Overall, the event ran smoothly despite the initial rain delay, showcasing the extraordinary spirit of the participants and the committee. It is hoped that events like this can become an annual platform for young dancers to create, collaborate, and inspire the next generation through dynamic and expressive art forms.
