Nurul Adinda Thalia Salsabila, an Information Systems student at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK), is currently undertaking an industrial internship program at PT Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia (KRA) from January to August 2025. In the company's mobile application development project, Adinda has been entrusted with three strategic roles simultaneously: Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Scrum Master.

Adinda's internship placement is within the Human Capital and General Service Department, working closely with the IT Department to develop internal digital systems. This project is part of a collaborative program between KRA and ITK's Information Systems & Informatics Study Program.

As a Business Analyst, Adinda is responsible for analyzing current business processes, including direct observation and interviews to identify user needs. The results of this analysis are then documented into system specifications, which form the basis for application development.

In her role as Project Manager, Adinda develops the project timeline, product backlog, as well as the Project Charter and Project Management Plan (PMP). She also bridges communication between the technical team, the company, and her supervising lecturers.

Adinda also serves as a Scrum Master, implementing the Scrum methodology, which includes Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, to ensure the development process is iterative and adaptive.

Throughout her internship, Adinda has also compiled the Final Sprint Report document, the application's guide book, and led the User Acceptance Test (UAT) process. She is also involved in planning system socialization and user training, collaborating with KRA's Human Capital team.

With a total academic conversion of 20 SKS (credits), this internship not only provides real industrial experience but also strengthens Adinda's practical competencies in the professional world.

Supervised by Sri Rahayu Natasia, S.Komp., M.Si., M.Sc. from ITK and Muhammad Iqbal Baihaqi, S.T. from KRA, Adinda demonstrates that students can directly contribute to system development in global industries.

"From ITK to Global Industry: Nurul Adinda Proves the Role of ITK Students in Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia's Projects" is more than just a tagline—it's a tangible representation of student contributions to digital transformation in the professional world.
