On Monday, September 30, 2024, the ITK Student Choir (PSM) participated in the "Symphony of Voices" choral competition organized by the Student Activity Unit of the Balikpapan Polytechnic. The event took place on the campus of the Balikpapan Polytechnic and featured various choirs from educational institutions in the region.

PSM ITK joined the competition with the enthusiasm to enhance their vocal abilities and quality, as well as to gain experience and accolades. For a full month, they engaged in intensive rehearsals to prepare their performance, presenting the compulsory song "Hymne Balikpapan" and their chosen piece "Rayuan Pulau Kelapa," which was specially arranged by PSM ITK members.

The hard work and dedication demonstrated by PSM ITK members paid off. In this competitive event, they proudly secured the 2nd place title, an achievement that not only reflects the individual talents of the members but also showcases the strong teamwork and commitment to advancing choral arts among students.

With this accomplishment, PSM ITK hopes to continue participating in various competitions in the future and encourages more students to get involved in artistic and cultural activities. This success is also expected to foster a sense of togetherness and creativity within the campus community.
