On June 14, 2025, an atmosphere of academic enthusiasm enveloped the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) with the successful staging of the Mathematical Analysis and Geometry Day (MaG-D) XVI. This annual event, initiated by the Analysis and Geometry Research Group (KKAG) ITB, has firmly established itself as a prestigious platform for undergraduate students or equivalents who possess a keen interest and high competency in the fields of calculus, analysis, and geometry.
MaG-D XVI 2025 was thoughtfully designed to not only test participants' mathematical prowess but also to enrich their knowledge. The event's itinerary included a highly competitive mathematics competition and public lectures delivered by expert speakers in their respective domains. The primary objectives of this gathering were to foster academic spirit, broaden horizons, and build networks among students from various institutions across Indonesia.
One of the participants of MaG-D XVI 2025 expressed profound gratitude and pride in being part of the event. Furthermore, they successfully secured a bronze medal, an achievement that was not only personally gratifying but also served as a significant motivation to continue learning and developing themselves, particularly in their chosen field of mathematics.
The successful execution of MaG-D XVI 2025 underscores the vital importance of such activities within the higher education ecosystem. Hopefully, inspiring events like this will continue to be held in the future, providing a space for the younger generation to compete healthily and hone their potential in a supportive and enlightening academic environment.
