Balikpapan - Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has officially opened registration for the Integrated Independent Entrance Selection of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (SUMMIT ITK) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This pathway is part of ITK’s new student admission process, aimed at expanding access to higher education, attracting potential prospective students, and strengthening collaboration through the independent admission scheme.

In 2026, SUMMIT ITK is offered through three admission pathways: SUMMIT Regular Pathway, SUMMIT Partnership Pathway, and SUMMIT Achievement Pathway. The Regular Pathway is intended for graduates of SMA/MA/SMK, Package C, or equivalent schools who have either a 2026 UTBK score or high school report card grades. Meanwhile, the Partnership Pathway is available for prospective students nominated by partner institutions, proven by a partnership invitation from ITK and a letter of recommendation from the partner institution. The Achievement Pathway is open to prospective students with outstanding academic or non-academic achievements.

SUMMIT ITK registration will be conducted online from June 10 to 18, 2026 through summit.itk.ac.id, which will be active during the registration period. Applicants may select up to three study programs offered by ITK. The registration fee for SUMMIT ITK is IDR 500,000, and any payment made is non-refundable if the applicant decides not to continue the registration process or does not pass the selection.

This year, ITK provides a total of 267 seats through the SUMMIT pathway for 25 undergraduate study programs. Several study programs with the largest quotas include Statistics with 27 seats, Safety Engineering with 26 seats, Actuarial Science with 22 seats, as well as Physics and Mathematics with 18 seats each. The quota may change after the finalization of SNBT re-registration, and the SUMMIT 2026 schedule may be extended if the total number of applicants for certain study programs has not yet met the available quota.

The applicant requirements include being a graduate of SMA/MA/SMK/equivalent in 2024, 2025, or 2026, having an NISN and NPSN, and not having been accepted through the SNBP pathway or completed re-registration through the SNBT pathway. Applicants who do not have a UTBK score may still register using their report card grades. For applicants of the Partnership and Achievement Pathways, additional documents must be uploaded according to the requirements of each pathway.

The stages of SUMMIT ITK 2026 include registration on June 10–18, 2026, document selection on June 24–25, 2026, interviews on June 29–30, 2026, announcement of selection results on July 3, 2026, and online re-registration on July 6–13, 2026.
