Rizky Nadila Putri Adenan, an alumna of MAN Insan Cendekia Paser, has just achieved an extraordinary milestone by being accepted as a student at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) in the Chemical Engineering program with the highest score in the SNBT-UTBK track. Rizky’s journey to college was not short and was filled with twists, turns, and challenges, but her determination and hard work have yielded very proud results.

From the beginning, Rizky’s parents encouraged her to continue her education at ITK. With full support from her family, Rizky decided to apply through the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) at ITK, choosing the Chemical Engineering program that aligns with her interests and aspirations. Rizky was accepted on August 12, 2024, with a UTBK score of 703.86, the highest UTBK score at ITK.

“Becoming a university student has been my dream for a long time. I am very interested in the fields of extraction and oil and gas, and I really want to work in the mining industry,” Rizky said enthusiastically. This choice was not just an academic decision, but also a step towards a long-cherished dream.

Rizky explained that her success in the UTBK exam and being accepted at ITK was not a coincidence. “I studied diligently and consistently participated in try-out evaluations,” she revealed when the ITK Public Relations team asked for her tips. Rizky’s success as the highest UTBK scorer at ITK was inseparable from her discipline and dedication during her exam preparation.

During the preparation period, Rizky not only focused on exam material but also actively participated in various simulations and try-out evaluations, which helped her understand question patterns and measure her learning progress. “For me, diligent studying and practice are the main keys. Don’t forget to frequently participate in try-out evaluations to be better prepared for the actual exam,” she added.

Rizky’s success has become an inspiration for many prospective students, especially those fighting for the SNBT next year. She advises them to stay motivated and keep trying, even though the journey to university is not always easy.

Now, Rizky is starting a new chapter in her life as a Chemical Engineering student at ITK, with high hopes of achieving success in the field she is passionate about.
