Jakarta - Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) demonstrated its strong commitment to supporting the Impact-Oriented Science and Technology policy through active participation in the Signing of the Performance Contract for Impact-Oriented Higher Education Institutions for 2026, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) on Monday (January 5, 2026) at Graha Diktisaintek, Senayan, Jakarta.
During the strategic event, ITK Rector, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Agus Rubiyanto, M.Eng.Sc., officially signed the performance contract as a manifestation of ITK’s institutional commitment to strengthening the role of science- and technology-based higher education that is oriented toward tangible impacts on society and national development.
ITK’s participation in the signing underscores the university’s development direction as a leading technological higher education institution, with a strong focus on research downstreaming, applied innovation, and strategic collaboration with government, industry, and the wider community particularly in supporting development in Kalimantan and Indonesia’s new capital city, Nusantara (IKN).
Aligned with the vision of Kemdiktisaintek, ITK continues to foster a higher education ecosystem that is adaptive, collaborative, and solution-oriented, positioning science and technology as key drivers in addressing the challenges of sustainable development.
