Balikpapan, August 31, 2025 — The Information Systems Study Program at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) successfully held a Professional Workshop (WORKER) with the theme "From Design to Deployment – Building Collaborative Applications like a Professional Team." The two-day event, held on August 30–31, 2025, aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the professional web development workflow.
The workshop, which took place at LabKom F in ITK's Integrated Laboratory, was attended by enthusiastic students eager to delve into the world of web development. They were directly guided by Mr. Adityo Gizwanda, S.Kom., an expert programmer with extensive experience in the technology industry.
Over the two full days, participants explored a variety of essential topics covering the entire application development lifecycle. The curriculum ranged from the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and Javascript to modern technologies like React.js and Next.js. The workshop also covered important aspects beyond just coding, such as SEO strategies and efficient website deployment processes.
In addition to the technical material, Mr. Adityo shared valuable insights through a sharing session on challenges and tips for success in the professional world. This provided students with real-world perspectives on how to apply the knowledge they learned in a professional environment.
Through this event, the ITK Information Systems Study Program hopes that students will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that are relevant to current industry needs. This workshop serves as an important foundation for them to prepare for the job market and make tangible contributions in the field of web-based application development.
