Balikpapan, October 4, 2025 – The 19th Graduation Ceremony of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) became a day of pride for Muhammad Iqbal, the best graduate and recipient of the Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) scholarship. Officially earning the title Bachelor of Mathematics (S.Mat.), Iqbal proved that perseverance, hard work, and family support can lead to remarkable achievements.
In his remarks, Iqbal expressed his gratitude and pride for being part of the ITK academic community. He shared that his college journey was filled with challenges, both in academics and in his organizational activities within the student association. However, thanks to the constant support of his friends, he was able to overcome every obstacle along the way.
“I am very proud and happy to be part of the ITK student family. Although there were many challenges during my studies and while being active in the student association, I was able to get through it all together with my friends. They were always kind and supportive,” said Iqbal.
Beyond sharing his story of perseverance, Iqbal also delivered an inspiring message to his juniors. He encouraged them to stay motivated—whether in competitions or student organization activities—emphasizing the importance of working together, supporting one another, and maintaining balance between academic and organizational responsibilities.
The KIP-K scholarship played a vital role in his academic journey. Iqbal explained how the program greatly supported him and his parents, particularly in easing tuition fees and covering academic needs, including the preparation of his thesis and reports.
The sense of pride reached its peak when his parents personally witnessed his graduation on October 4, 2025. The moment stood as living proof that long struggles and heartfelt prayers had finally borne sweet fruit.
With heartfelt gratitude, the ITK community congratulated Muhammad Iqbal on this outstanding achievement. His success is hoped to be the first step toward a bright future and an inspiration for the next generation of ITK students to keep striving for excellence.
