ITK Vice Rector Reviews the First Day of UTBK-SNBT Implementation

Balikpapan - Vice Rector for Non-Academic Affairs of Institut Teknologi Kalimantan, Ir. Khakim Ghozali, M.MT., directly reviewed the first day of the 2026 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) held at the Integrated Laboratory complex of ITK on Tuesday (21/4).

The inspection was carried out at Integrated Laboratory Building 1 and Integrated Laboratory Building 2 to ensure that the entire examination process ran in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner. Starting from participants’ arrival, registration, document verification, metal detector screening, to the implementation of the examination in the test rooms, all procedures were confirmed to have been carried out properly.

During the visit, Ir. Khakim Ghozali, M.MT. was accompanied by the 2026 ITK UTBK organizing committee. He also reviewed the participants’ waiting area, registration area, entry and exit routes, as well as the readiness of the examination rooms in each building.

According to him, the first day of the UTBK-SNBT implementation at ITK proceeded well and orderly. The committee was considered to have prepared a clear service flow so that participants could take the examination comfortably.

“On this first day, we observed that the entire process ran smoothly, starting from participants arriving, registering, and entering the examination room. The committee has also worked very well in ensuring that all participants receive maximum service,” he said.

He added that supervision during the 2026 UTBK-SNBT was carried out more strictly to maintain the integrity of the selection process.

“We want to ensure that the implementation of UTBK-SNBT at ITK is honest, orderly, and full of integrity. Therefore, all inspection procedures are carried out strictly so that there are no violations or potential cheating during the examination,” he added.

In addition to conducting the inspection, Ir. Khakim Ghozali, M.MT. also took the opportunity to greet and encourage several participants before they entered the examination rooms.

“We would like to wish all participants the best of luck. Stay calm, be confident, and do your best in answering the questions. We hope the entire process runs smoothly and that everyone achieves their best results,” he said.

The 2026 UTBK-SNBT at Institut Teknologi Kalimantan will be held for seven days, from 21 to 27 April 2026. A total of 4,745 participants are taking the examination at ITK, which is the only UTBK center in Balikpapan. All examinations are conducted in 12 sessions across 11 examination rooms located in Building A, Integrated Laboratory Building 1, and Integrated Laboratory Building 2.
