Balikpapan, 14 November 2025 – The Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) conducted a Socialization on Job Analysis and Workload Analysis as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional governance and improve organizational management quality within ITK. The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Planning, Finance, and General Affairs, Ir. Khakim Ghozali, M.MT, who introduced ITK and emphasized the importance of developing a more effective and accountable personnel governance system.

On this occasion, the Vice Rector also presented plaques to the three speakers as a form of appreciation for their valuable contributions in providing strategic insights related to bureaucratic strengthening and institutional management. The session was moderated by Yudhi.

Strengthening Institutional Policies and Bureaucratic Reform

The first session was delivered by Dr. Rahmat, MA, who presented material on Institutional Policies and Government Agency Administration. Several key points highlighted include:

  • Bureaucratic simplification to speed up decision-making processes.
  • Technology-based public services to enhance speed, transparency, and accessibility.
  • Effective budget allocation to support national priority programs.
  • The importance of collaborative and network governance to prevent program overlap among government agencies.

He also explained the benefits of strong institutional governance, including more efficient organizational structures, enhanced accountability and oversight, improved public service quality, and accelerated digital transformation within government agencies.

ITK Institutional Evaluation and Organizational Structuring

The second session was presented by Tri Noor Aziza, SP., MP., an Intermediate Expert Policy Analyst, who discussed the Institutional Evaluation of the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan 2025. She explained the importance of organizational needs analysis as the foundation for designing organizations that are functionally appropriate, process-oriented, and structurally aligned.

Tri also outlined the organizational cycle, which includes:

  1. Planning and developing organizational design.
  2. Implementing the design based on the organizational needs assessment.
  3. Conducting periodic evaluations and reviews to ensure organizational effectiveness.

Additionally, she described the scope of institutional evaluation as regulated by government policies, covering aspects such as structure, processes, governance, complexity, formalization of rules, and the use of information technology to support performance and service delivery.

Strengthening Job Analysis and Position Mapping

The third session was delivered by Wildan Lutfi Arieyasmita, S.E., who highlighted the importance of job analysis and position mapping based on workload distribution and individual capabilities. He explained that accurate job grouping enhances work effectiveness, clarifies roles and responsibilities, and supports the institution in planning its human resource needs more precisely.

Wildan emphasized that workload analysis is essential to ensure a proportional distribution of tasks, prevent duplication of functions, and support the achievement of organizational targets optimally.

Interactive Session and Discussion

Each session included a question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to engage in active discussion. The dialogue was lively and productive, demonstrating the high enthusiasm of ITK’s academic community in understanding and implementing institutional policies and governance improvements.
