Balikpapan - Auditorium of SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan was filled with students’ enthusiasm during the implementation of the Education (Edu) Fair, an educational event that brought together various universities and educational institutions. The activity served as a strategic platform for students to gain deeper insight into higher education and explore study opportunities after graduation.

A total of 23 institutions participated in the fair, consisting of both public and private higher education institutions, including the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK), which took part by opening an educational information booth. Through this booth, students received direct explanations regarding study programs, university admission pathways, campus facilities, and graduate career prospects.

The Edu Fair was not only a promotional event for higher education but also functioned as a space for consultation and exploration of students’ interests and talents. Direct interactions with representatives from universities helped Grade XII and XIII students of SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan prepare their academic plans in a more mature and well directed manner.

Through its participation in the Edu Fair at SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan, the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) reaffirmed its commitment to expanding access to higher education information for young generations, particularly vocational high school students. ITK’s presence with an educational booth not only provided an overview of academic pathways and admission routes but also represented a tangible form of support in preparing high quality, adaptive, and competitive human resources in Kalimantan for the future.
