Diva Kirana Salsabilla Puspanyo is an inspiring figure who demonstrates that hard work and dedication can lead to remarkable success. This Marine Engineering student not only excels academically but has also made extraordinary achievements in the world of taekwondo.
Diva's journey began at a young age. Her interest in taekwondo sparked when she was in kindergarten, thanks to her aunt, a taekwondo coach in Bontang, who invited her to join a local taekwondo club. It was here that she started honing her skills and nurturing her fighting spirit.
While still in elementary school, Diva participated in a taekwondo competition and achieved a provincial championship. This accomplishment served as a motivating stepping stone, encouraging her to continue training and competing. With the support of her family and coaches, she grew increasingly determined to pursue her dreams in martial arts.
Diva continued her education at the Special Sports School (SKOI) Kaltim in Samarinda, where she received intensive training and opportunities to compete with top athletes. The dedication and discipline instilled in her during her time at SKOI shaped her into a resilient and competitive athlete.
The pinnacle of Diva's journey came when she registered and competed in the National Sports Week (PON) for the first time. At this prestigious event, Diva secured third place in the Kyourugu U-46 KG senior women's category, representing East Kalimantan. This achievement not only brought her personal pride but also honor to her family, coaches, and the entire taekwondo community in East Kalimantan.
For Diva, the medal she earned is not merely a piece of metal but a symbol of sweat, hard work, and her parents' prayers. "The gold medal is not made of gold; it’s made of sweat, hard work, and the prayers of my parents, as well as the time we've invested," she states. This reflects the values she holds: that success is the result of consistent effort and heartfelt support.
Diva Kirana Salsabilla Puspanyo’s journey is proof that dreams can be achieved through hard work and perseverance. As a Marine Engineering student actively engaged in taekwondo, she serves as an inspiration to many, especially the younger generation eager to pursue their passions.
