The implementation of the Latihan Dasar (Latsar) CPNS (Civil Servant Candidate) Batch 2 held at Puslatbang KDOD Samarinda has been successfully carried out from August to November 14, 2024. This event was participated by 80 participants from two batches, with the primary goal of shaping the character of civil servants (ASN) who are integrity-driven, while also strengthening their technical and managerial skills in accordance with the institutions they are assigned to.
The purpose of the CPNS Latsar is to actualize the core values that every ASN must uphold, known by the acronym Ber-AKHLAK. This training is essential in forming an ASN that not only possesses technical competence but also strong character in carrying out their public service duties.
In addition, the CPNS Latsar also aims to strengthen the participants' technical and managerial capabilities, preparing them to face the challenges in their governmental tasks. Thus, this program plays a crucial role in creating a professional, high-quality, and dedicated public servant workforce.
In the second batch of the CPNS Latsar at Puslatbang KDOD Samarinda, two participants from the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) achieved top rankings. They are:

Both lecturers demonstrated not only technical proficiency but also their commitment to internalizing the noble values of ASN throughout the training period.
The CPNS Latsar program, which began in August 2024, officially concluded on November 14, 2024. The closing ceremony included expressions of appreciation for all participants who showed dedication and commitment during the training. It is hoped that the knowledge and skills gained during the Latsar will be implemented effectively in their respective duties, contributing to better governance and more optimal public services.
The successful completion of the CPNS Latsar at Puslatbang KDOD Samarinda is expected to become a significant moment in the process of shaping ASNs who not only master technical aspects but also embody the values outlined in Ber-AKHLAK.
